Pawan Singh blow for BJP: Not fighting from Asansol! Name raised by 'anti-Bengali' Bhojpuri singer, face burned by BJP

Do not contest Lok Sabha elections from Asansol. Pawan Singh informed. The man has also been accused of anti-Bengali sentiments and misogyny. And in that incident, the final face of the BJP was burnt, according to the political circles.

Not even 18 hours passed after the announcement of the name as a candidate. Bhojpuri singer Pawan Singh has announced that he will not contest on a BJP ticket from Asansol Lok Sabha seat. The singer has been accused of harboring anti-Bengali sentiments. Allegations of misogyny have also been made against the Bhojpuri singer. And amid those allegations, the Bhojpuri singer said on social media platform 'X' on Sunday.

I express my gratitude to the top leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party from the bottom of my heart. Showing confidence in me, they announced me as a candidate from Asansol Lok Sabha constituency. But for some reason I will not be able to contest the election from Asansol.

Although Pawan himself did not say anything directly as to why he withdrew from Asansol, according to political circles, the Bhojpuri singer was forced to withdraw his name when he was under attack from various quarters for his 'anti-Bengali' and 'misogynist' attitude. The tone that has been caught in the voice of Trinamool Congress All India General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee. Instead of showing it as a 'Trinamool victory', he said, '(Proof) of the indomitable spirit and strength of the people of West Bengal' and used the hashtag 'Janagarjan'.

The rest of the Trinamool leaders have also followed the same path. Derek O'Brien said, 'The game was over before it started. This is called a game.' On the same note, Saket Gokhale said, "BJP has surrendered one of the 42 seats in West Bengal before the election was announced." Again, Sushmita Dev said, "BJP's first suicide goal in Bengal."

And the political circles feel that there is no doubt that the final face of BJP was burnt in that incident. According to that quarter, it is not at all normal for a candidate to announce that he will not stand in the election within 18 hours of announcing his name. The candidate's enthusiasm for the fight in particular was evident in his initial reaction. From there, it is clear that there is something big behind the sudden withdrawal of the name. And what is the reason, the political circle thinks that it is practically clear.

Even after people like BJP's IT cell head Amit Malviya stood by, the decision of Pawan is considered very significant by the political circle. Because Malvya is known to be close to the top leadership of BJP. Political circles feel that BJP has to suffer extreme discomfort as Pawan, who has the 'blessing' of that Malvya, withdrew his name from the election. Malvya retweeted Pawan's tweet.
